Host family
Staying in a host family will provide you with an excellent opportunity to practice English conversation skills and experience Canadian culture, families and lifestyles. Our host families are located in some of the finest parts of Vancouver. These homes are safe, gay-friendly, inspected and approved by our Homestay Program Coordinators.

The Homestay Department takes great care in matching student application requests with the appropriate host family. Every home is visited and checked to ensure that you will be happy and comfortable.

Two options are offered to you:

1) Homestay boarding: including three healthy, adequate meals a day (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner) as well as snacks. A two meals (breakfast and dinner) option is also available.

2) Roomstay boarding: does not include meals. You are expected to buy your own food and cook for yourself, in the host family's kitchen.

Alternative Accommodations

For those of you who would rather live independently, our language school in Vancouver won't let you down! We can also help you find an alternative accommodation, taking into consideration your budget and your needs. Many hotels, fully furnished apartments and student residences are available not far from the school. Please contact us for more information.
