Host family

Our partner school offers you, for example, the possibility of staying with a host family. There are families available in the various lively and tolerant districts of New York. It goes without saying that the hosts are either themselves gay or especially gay friendly. You will stay in a single room and may have the use of a private bathroom on request.  With this accommodation option, breakfast is also included. An exceptional opportunity for you to practise English in everyday situations and thereby learn English in its daily use. When you live with locals, you get an excellent insight into the New York culture and lifestyle. Live like a real New York City Boy!

Residence

The "New Yorker“ residence is located in the famous Herald Square neighbourhood in the heart of Manhattan. Who can boast of living only a few minutes away from perhaps the most famous square in the world? Yes, that’s right, Times Square! Or how many people will envy you for having the possibility of enjoying an incomparable view out over the „City that never sleeps“ from the Empire State Building? After all, it’s only a few short minutes away! Many other New York sights and famous attractions, such as Madison Square Garden or the Broadway theatres, are likewise close at hand. Or how about checking out the district of Hell’s Kitchen, which is located only a few blocks further away to the north, which in recent years, has grown in popularity, especially amongst members of the gay community. Here, trendy bars and restaurants await queers. In addition, you will be only a stone’s throw away from Macy’s and can give into your shopping desires, without limits.
But now back to the residence itself. Here, there are bedrooms which are fully-equipped with televisions, DVD players, Internet connection for one or, on request, also for two people. In the fitness centre, you can dedicate some time to working out. In the shared kitchen and living room, in a relaxed atmosphere, you will be able to cook, have parties and above all, speak a lot of English with the other students. You can reach the school in less than eight minutes, as it is only one subway station away.

Hotels

Naturally enough, accommodation in various hotels is also proposed. From exclusive 5-star establishments to designer hotels, really everything can be organised. Many of these are exclusively for gays and are, of course, all gay friendly. Most of the hotels recommended by us are located in the favourite districts of the LGBT community, Greenwich Village and Chelsea. Further information and prices are available on request.
