Press releases: Flamingo Languages Launch
Finally, a language travel agency for the gay community!
Launch on Tuesday, 1st September in Zurich of Flamingo languages, the first group of language travel agencies in the world destined for gays and lesbians.
Selecting quality language schools across the world, giving advice to candidates for a language study stay on their choice of destination, taking care of the steps involved in the reservation and organisation of an accommodation solution, are part of the standard offer of a language travel agency. This is also the case with Flamingo languages, but the agency proposes a fresh approach. The group of agencies effectively defines itself as « the first language travel agency for gays and lesbians ». Philipp Hari, Director of the group, explains this choice: « If I wish to find out whether a holiday destination or a hotel is gay friendly, numerous travel agencies can provide me with this information. Paradoxically, for a language study stay, whilst the interaction and immersion in a favourable environment play a key role, there is absolute silence. We come to respond to this demand » and to give the best tips and recommendations.
Flamingo languages is a network of agencies across Europe, in Zurich, Lausanne, Paris, Lyon, Milan or Munich. It is also a website which proposes a selection of the best language schools in the world but also the most important addresses, the dates of gay events in each city or town and a whole host of other information you won’t find anywhere else.
Flamingo also assures a totally gay friendly environment, notably in the accommodation proposals, whether in a residence, hotel or with a host family. In the agencies, during free meetings, the language travel counsellors take the time to answer all questions, without exception.
Proof of quality: Flamingo Languages can count on the support and expertise of the specialist of the sector : ESL – Language studies abroad. Therefore, the Flamingo destinations are selected amongst a sound network of partner schools. As for the agency’s language travel counsellors, they all benefit from several years’ experience in the field
