Learn Canada in French

The vast and incredibly diverse Canada is attractive not only for the English language, but also for fans of French. In terms of land area, the French-speaking province of Québec is almost three times bigger than France itself and no less attractive. Bonjour Québec. Bonjour Montréal. The second-largest French-speaking city after Paris is a real world city. Huge like American cities, and yet completely different. The old town with its French-like historical centre and a large choice of fine restaurants makes you dream of Europe. Not to be disregarded is also the vibrating life of the city, in which everyone gets their money’s worth. Queers can nevertheless by no means miss out on the Rue Sainte-Catherine with the whole „Village gai“.
Enough of the city fuss? In the capital, Québec, things are a bit quieter, which shouldn’t matter. The Château Frontenac, the old walled town and the Haute Ville as well as the picturesque setting on the Saint Lawrence River leave nobody unimpressed. Or let’s travel even further inland to the beautiful lakes, hills and exciting wildlife. By the way, the French in Québec has its own particular ring to it, which will make you smile at one time or other during your language study stay. But it’s exactly this that also makes Québec attractive.
