• Hawaii Salsa Festival
Experience the Music, Passion, Dancing and Spirit of Aloha in Paradise!
• Mardi Gras Celebration
Put on your feathers and join the biggest Mardi Gras [like Carnival in Brazil] party in town! Aloha Tower Marketplace presents its annual Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday Celebration on Tuesday, February 20 from 5 p.m. Admission is FREE. The festivities will include live entertainment on multiple stages with jazz & blues, a Brazilian Samba parade, and strolling entertainers performing throughout the Marketplace. In addition, there will be free beads and prize giveaways throughout the night. Participating restaurants will offer food & drink specials as part of their regular menus.

• Annual Hawaii Invitational International Music Festival
Music Festival, Free Concerts April at Kapiolani Bandstand and Waikiki Shell, Salute to Youth Parades on Kalakaua Ave. Join participants from Hawai'i, the mainland and around the world at the longest running Spring Break music festival on Oahu.
• Starbucks Aids Walk for Life
Put on your walking shoes and join us for the Starbucks AIDS Walk for Life! The walk will is an easy 5k walk around Kapiolani Park. Meet at the bandstand at 8:00 to register, and the walk starts at 9:00. Walkers get friends and family to sponsor their involvement in the walk to raise funds for Life Foundation, Hawaii's oldest and largest AIDS organization. • Hawaii Book and Music Festival
Ten thousand people attended this unique new annual festival last year. At Honolulu Hale, in Historic Downtown Honolulu, it’s "A Celebration of Story and Song," with 300 national and Hawaii authors, poets, playwrights, storytellers, songwriters, performers, and musicians in 100 events. There are Pavilions dedicated to books and authors, Hawaiian culture, Food and Cookbooks, Storytelling, Arts and Crafts, and a Music Stage. There’s a special Children’s Festival, with a Children’s Stage, and a Meet the Children’s Authors Pavilion. Author signings and books sold at Publishers’, and Booksellers’ booths. Great food and refreshments.
• Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival
The HGLCF is Hawaii's center for LGBTIQ arts and cultural activities and sponsor of the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival which will be over Memorial Day Weekend.

• Honolulu Pride Festival and Parade
This festival will be held at McCoy Pavilion in Ala Moana Beach Park is the one time of the year when all LGBT people on Oahu gather to celebrate who we are. Attendance averages about 1,000 people.
July
• Annual Sunset Sail (wild dolphin foundation fundraiser)
Back by popular demand, we'll be setting sail from the rural Waianae Coast at 6 pm for this "three hour tour." This annual fundraising event promises to be something special along with viewing of the summer constellations and planets. The boat departs just before sunset to capture the glorious sunset. It is unknown yet if there will be a major firework show locally. Otherwise, viewing of rural displays. Romantic and serene on private 42 ft. catamaran, limited seats (4 -15 passengers) and local-style dinner included. Early bookings are recommended.

• Waikiki Artfest (10 times a year)
The Waikiki Artfest is located at Kapiolani Park directly across from the Honolulu Zoo at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. Our event is scheduled from 9am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday, and admission is free. We feature the art and handcrafted products of more than 75 Hawaii artists including all types of jewelry, clothing, stained glass, ceramics, quilts and bags, wood products, soaps and candles. All products are displayed for sale by the artist personally. We have live entertainment and great food. Join us and celebrate the arts of Hawaii.

• Ala Moana Hotel Octoberfest
Mid October
Ala Moana Hotel, Honolulu, hosts Hawaii's largest and longest-running Bavarian festival.

• Annual Honolulu Marathon

Last year's Honolulu Marathon brought together over 28,000 participants from all over the world. Each year, fireworks announce the beginning of the marathon on Ala Moana Boulevard, the 'path by the ocean.' The course passes by world-famous Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head and Koko Head volcanic craters. The terrain is level except for short uphill grades around Diamond Head. Marathon finishers receive lovely shell necklaces with their medals and finishers' certificates.
• Van’s Triple Crown of Surfing

Some of the competitions in "Van's Triple Crown of Surfing" series take place on the North Shore of the island of Hawaii in November and December. Events include the OP Pro Hawaii, the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing, The Rip Curl Pro Pipeline Masters, and the Women's Triple Crown of Surfing.
