Tell a Friend

Your Language Course

A language course is about more than just lessons. At Flamingo Languages we offer you a complete program, including accommodation and leisure activities, to enable you to immerse yourself in the language and culture of your chosen destination. It’s a great way to meet new friends, discover another culture and practise the language skills you will learn in class.

Schools

The schools we have chosen to participate in Flamingo Languages are aware of the specific needs and requirements of the gay and lesbian community and are keen to welcome you. Each school has a staff member designated to gay students, so any queries or concerns that you may have can be addressed quickly and easily.

All of our partner schools have been established for several years and are accredited by international quality-assurance associations. They offer a wide range of courses, making them suitable for beginners through to advanced language students. Lessons are in small group classes, creating a dynamic and motivating atmosphere that encourages rapid progress. The teachers are qualified professionals, experienced in teaching their native language to foreigners. Modern, interactive teaching methods are used to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

Accommodation

Flamingo Languages schools offer a choice of gay-friendly accommodation options. Students can stay, for example, in a gay or gay-friendly host family. Accommodation in gay-oriented hotels or apartments can also be organised. We recognise that accommodation is a key element of any language course abroad. We therefore make it a priority to help you find the type of accommodation that is most suitable for you, to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Leisure

Leisure activities form an important and integral part of the program. A wide range of extra-curricular activities is offered by the schools to help build a relaxed and motivating environment for students to meet and practise the language while forming new friendships. A variety of sports, cultural excursions and nights out are organised regularly, with a particular emphasis on gay-oriented locations and activities.
